    i believe that canucks and blackhawks will exchange picks 11 and 19. will the canucks use those picks or trade them along with some bloated contracts to begin the retool?

    i would like to see at least 2 big contracts gone. these moves will hurt in the short term.

      Its a never ending cycle with this team, we pay assets to get rid of bad contracts just to make room to add more overpaid contracts in FA. This team need to retain draft capital and be cautious spending money in FA unless the right opportunity comes our way. As soon as we get the tiniest bit of cap space we get our wallet out right away..

      Unless its OEL going back with a prospect for 19th oa - its not worth it

       

      I'd rather buy out OEL (math aint too bad - 2 years down cap goes up)

      if your name is aquilinni, that would be great. ALLVIN is taxed with cutting cap space and to improve this team as well.

      is it any wonder that the JB model and the new managers have the same objective?

      imo, aquillini hires the groups to fast track the retool. linden had it right so he was let go.
