      Plus a lot of good defensemen available for a discount due to expansion draft.  Hopefully Hamonic's willing to take a 1 year deal as a stopgap.

      @smithers joe absolutely agree - we did what we needed to do last year - make the playoffs and not lose a lottery pick for the trade for Miller. Lets see what we can do with Demko and Holtby - although I think we need another defenseman  with some size - I still think Bogosian would be a decent target.

      It's unfortunate, but needed to be done to try and correct previous bad signings. I hope Benning can get another top 4 Dman on the right side to replace Tanev. A player with some size and grit would be good. Give Rafferty and Juolevi a shot. Also looks like Virtanen could be given a chance at a top 6 spot, and there's always Baertschi. :unsure:
