    i think that the canucks want to move 2 bigger contracts out and

    change the mix a little. i doesn't sound like they are getting the returns they want to free up enough cap to jump forward. it is just a crawl right now. FA has his fingers all over this strategy.

    i think they would prefer it to be boeser and myers. sign horvat and kuz and bring in a stable defenseman this year.

      I think so, too. Horvat and Boeser are good players and honourable men, but their presence hasn't made much of a difference and the team is pretty much as bad now as it was when they started. I think Myers could go, too, and I feel the same about him as about the other two. Cap space, draft picks and a prospect or two would be good. AAnd a big yes to signing Kuzmenko with some of the the new cap space.

      All I know is this mix isn't right. If the team wants to be a winner it's going to have to make changes.
