    i'm afraid that the only way out of cap hell for canucks, is to attach sweetners with some contracts to move them. not ideal but possible the only way. draft picks or prospects.  we should forget about winning every trade.

      another answer would be, to not re-signing any of our FA's

      kuzmenko, kravtsov, bear, burroughs or dermott. that would put us 3 mil under the cap.

      this guy did a mockup of status quo of the existing team with signing of our RFA and came under the cap.
