      @Jam126as a disclaimer, I'm not a Will Smith fan nor do I condone the violence. I'm just letting you guys know exactly why he was pissed off because there seems to be this lack of knowledge about his wife's condition which then led to some quick judgments. Btw, watch his acceptance speech again now that you know about his wife's condition - I believe he seems to imply that he wanted to defend not just his wife's honour but a cause (people with alopecia who are being picked on with stupid jokes) and that he regretted the way he did it.

      @Elias PetterssonApparently, Will Smith didn't like the fact that Chris Rock was having fun at the expense of his wife's medical condition that's causing her to be bald - alopecia. He probably felt that he needed to defend those people with the same condition who are being made fun of by others.

      which players will lose their value in the off-season compared to now? obviously Motte because he's a UFA. maybe Boeser since he's a RFA? definitely not JT Miller, Bo, and Garland since they're not FA.

      It may end up being Bo and Boeser as JT Miller seems to provide the type of leadership (i.e., vocal, emotional) that the young guys need. If it's Bo, I will miss him, but I think he gets us a haul not far from what JT would have.

    Looking at Halak’s numbers over the years, and man he’s had some dominant years. Seems like a goaltender that kind of regularly needs to play for him to be at his best.

      I have no insider info, but I really think that given that he's still under contract for 1 more season and the Canucks still have a chance of making the playoffs, there should be no urgency for the Canucks to trade JT unless they're given a can't-refuse-ransom of a young and promising RHD d-man, a 1st round pick, and a prospect. Bo's in the same boat. I think the ones they're looking at trading right now are: Boeser, OEL and Dickinson. They're hoping they can trade Pearson and Halak. They may be open to trading Garland (need to get a RHD d-man or 1st rounder) and Motte.
