Think the Canucks will be able to get Hunter Smith with the 50th pick?

Was just watching some old 2011 playoff videos; in one of them Tanner Glass tried to hit Marchand but was 5 feet away and hit the Glass... glad Fanner is gone

Watch this trade light a flame under Schneider and he wins the Vezina next year... #MGtradeprobs

Watched some of the Wild game today. Ballard played pretty solid, he got a few assists too. Hope he gets a hattrick when they play the Rangers
-
Weird seeing Ballard beat up Fraser in a different uniform.

Lean do you know that in the sel only one player gets an assist? Yea so a player could make a nice play to set up a goal but not get an assist. Also my point is being that jensen playing fourth line minutes with no one else to help out scored a guy playing top line minutes with jonathon towes. The sel is still a competitive league... a lot of thier players could be in the nhl. Not too mention during the lock out lots of nhl players were there....
-
Didn't know that. Anyways, Saad was put all over the place in Chicago, not just the top line. Pretty sure Jensen played third or second line minutes as well. Plus, although the SEL is competitive, it is not at the same level as the NHL. Bigger rinks, softer players(for the most part), etc. The Canucks are an NHL team and we want NHL quality players... We don't know just yet if Jensen is at that level.

Why do I always miss all the chippy games...

Wish I was as jacked as Schroeder when he was 18... 17 reps of 150 is pretty impressive for a hockey player his size.

@tortorella still, most 5'7 160-170 lb 17 year olds that play hockey (not to mention, skilled forwards like Schroeder) would never be able to bench that weight. Football players that size and age... maybe. The next highest were Ryan O'Reilly (18 reps 6'0 190-200) and Colin Wilson (5 year record, 21 reps 6'1 200-215) both of whom are much bigger than Schroeder.
