He is exactly the style of player the 2nd line needs and the only risk is his health, which partly is attributed to bad luck. Center Cody Almond has left the Wild and signed to play with Servette in Geneva of the Swiss League through 2015. The move surprised the Wild because Almond would require waivers to be sent to the minors next season, meaning if he didn't make the team in training camp, he would have a chance to be claimed by another team. If he fits in seamlessly, he stays since he also plays the wing. If he doesn't fit in seamlessly, he moves on. There are not many better chances to get top-six minutes right off the bat on a Cup contending team. Chicago needs a #2 centre but I think they want Sam Gagner.
