mrsasaki
Hats off to the Seahawks, that was a beastly performance. Too many stupid penalties from the Packers, and too many missed tackles. I almost forgot how good Beastmode was before this game. Good luck to the Hawks the rest of the way.
mrsasaki
Now I'm even more scared about facing AP, Bush and Forte 2x each. Brad Jones played awful, both of those holding penalties that kept drives alive, plus sooo many missed tackles
Offensive Threat
Lynch is faster and more explosive now than he was much of last season. He has always run like every run is the biggest run of his life but hes actually faster now than hes been the last couple years. Maybe its just that he rested the preseason and he will slow as he piles up runs. Still he was scary fast. Speaking of fast, Harvin, stay healthy. Such a versatile weapon. This is the Green Bay Packers everyones been ranking number 3 overall so far. Blown out. At least their season gets much easier after this. Shermans not gonna get to add to his interception record (16 - most interceptions from 2012 on) if nobody throws to his side of the field. Yeah. Aaron threw his way zero times tonight. Its starting to look like it was for Deon Sanders back in the day, they just dont throw to whoever hes covering. Ever. Great game tonight. IS 16-0 possible? Damn sure looks that way. 49ers sure arent gonna challenge in their heavily depleted state. They looked terrible throughout the preseason. They should be more worried about Arizona taking that final wild card spot away from them.

SF's defence is good enough.Rookie C in for GB, no Raji (not that he's great). Seattle will be as loud as ever first game back since the Superb Owl win, more dynamic offense most likely this year as Harvin is healthy (fingers crossed). 35-13 Seattle. That was a pretty damn close prediction. If there's no Gronk, it could be a close one. Miamis offense is supposed to be revamped this year.Gronk or no Gronk, Miami is always a threat for New England some reason. Every offseason, Miami revamps their offence and is expected to have a lethal offence but year in year out, they show that they flop and fail to produce. I don't see any different here in Miami. Thank god Bowman and Smith should be back before the Niners have to play the Seahawks at all this year. We likely won't be any better than a .500 team without them. Legitimately worried we will lose the Wild Card spot due to a subpar start while those two are out.
Offensive Threat
16-0 is possible but SF's defence should be able to carry their fluctuating offence. SF's defence is good enough. Good enough? Their starting corners are highly suspect. Culliver was mediocre to start with then missed all last season with a torn ACL and now has a ankle injury so they may have to drop below him on the depth chart lol All he is known for is trash talking about gays. And Tramaine Brock isnt exactly a "better than" replacement for Carlos Rogers or Tarell Brown who both went to Oakland . Good luck covering Dez Bryant in Dallas with these hobos. Aldon Smith is out for 9 games. Ray Mcdonald will probably be out longer. This defense is anything but good enough. Seattle is now better on both sides of the ball than SF even without the injuries and suspensions SF is facing. I dont see SF winning either Seattle game this year. Levis stadium isnt gonna have the socks rocking first year they were hoping for. The analysts at NFL.com are calling for the cowboys to pull the upset hosting the 49ers on Sunday and they slid down from 2nd to 6th on the power rankings after that horrendous preseason. You did see some of their preseason didnt you? kapernickys 0 TDs and what was it, oh yeah , total of 2 field goals when their starting offence played. "fluctuating" is a kind word for it. I think the Niners beat the Cowboys, if they're the same unimpressive Cowboys of the last few years. But yeah.. it's not a good looking season, with injuries, with Kaepernick looking bad (just the preseason, but not a good start), suspensions.. The D shows promise, but the O can't go anywhere if CK is as bad as he looked during the preseason. He's clearly best when he runs around, it seems the Niners coaching staff are letting the media's criticism of him not being a strong pocket passer change their gameplay and turn CK into something he's not. Mr. Ambien
The 49ers will stomp on the Cowgirls. Why is that even a question... Cowboys are America's team, America will prevail. Scratch that, thanks to gay player Michael Sam, they are no longer America's team. America's team is the Charlotte Catholic Priests. (but they're in a Pee Wee league, not the NFL) Edited September 5, 2014 by Mr. Ambien
