g_bassi13
That Redblacks game was one of the best endings to a game I've watched. Sometimes it's better when you have no interest in what team wins, when you just see a back and forth like that.
the last outlaw
Tedford has been contacted by NCAA teams about a return to college football http://www.tsn.ca/report-ncaa-teams-contacting-tedford-1.398521 Apparently, he doesn't have an out clause in his contract. http://www.tsn.ca/radio/vancouver-1040-i-1410/buono-tedford-does-not-have-out-clause-in-contract-1.398712

Heretic
No one watching the Grey Cup? With that TD right at the end of the half by the Esks - makes me feel that the game is over.

Grapefruits
Those 2 missed field goals by Whyte could come back to bite Edmonton in the ass. Pretty exciting game so far.

When you don't really care who wins you can appreciate all the good plays that both teams make. Went to the Grey Cup last year and ended up really enjoying the game. c00kies
Congrats to Edmonton. This makes me extra mad that the Bombers didn't get Reilly when he was a free agent.
g_bassi13
Fun game. Wish the outcome was different, but congrats to Edmonton.

The entire West Division has won a Grey Cup in the past 5 seasons.. .except for them and their 25 year drought. As for the game, I wasn't really cheering for the Esks but I'm really happy for Riley

He didn't do a great job but that offense is simply too weak to have a chance. Until we get help on that side of the ball no coaching change is going to fix this team. MJDDawg
Not surprising. I'm still confused as to why Wally hired him in the first place with an option after one year to leave, when continuity and stability was what was required.

It was good to see a Canadian being so dominant.

I have to wonder if this is more of a PR move to try ant keep season ticket holders. I don't really see Wally taking over as coach changing much. Lancaster
Wally coaching again? He certainly knows how to coach, so this might be good for the short-term... but what about the long-term? Who is the next successor for coaching? Waiting for Lulay to eventually hang them up?
Bruce Boudreau
Is Buono football's Lou Lamoriello? Jim Popp of the West? But seriously with Hufnagel stepping down for Dickenson will he have second thoughts if Dickenson has some growing pains as a rookie HC? Maybe he too is tempted to wear both hats again. Dickenson will probably be a better coach than Benevides though you never know he could falter and Hufnagel might have to come down after a season or two just like Wally did to Benevides and Popp always does in Montreal too. Bruce Boudreau
Harris should be good as gone based on Buono being both the coach and GM and ripping for saying the Lions did not utilize him properly and he didn't feel like he was involved in their game plans especially this year. He is Canadian and a good back but slightly overrated imo. He has lost a step and it is getting up there in age 28 going on 29 I believe. I would let him go and bring in a younger American stud cut from the NFL or outta college who has both speed and power and pair him with Rainey and Murray Lawrence.
