canucks#01fan
Lu wants to play for canada, i think that was a huge reason why he came back I wouldnt blane him if he still wants out but he'll probably put the whole thing behind him and move on
samurai
there is no drama here. Cory outplayed Lu - Lu lost his spot Nucks tried to trade lu - no takers because of the CBA changes Both Lu and Cory played well. Lu was the more ready and better goalie in the playoffs Nucks reassessed and decided to stay with Lu. Hockey players live a good life and make a lot of money - they live the dream. We should never feel sorry for things like have to be a back up or being traded.
Special Ed
Finally. And once more I laugh at the dummies who all had him traded 110% long ago here on CDC.

Seven pounds soft
Awesome! This makes me a happy guy. Wow guys what an up and down couple year's for luongo and us. When we traded for lu he became my favorite player. And I stayed with him thru the hard times. Now I hope to be rewarded for our and mine own loyal patience with a huge , vezna type performance this season. If luongo gets hot at the right time he can single handedly win us a cup and I truly believe that. Go Canucks !

apollo
I hope that at somepoint, he wakes up happy knowing he is part of the best team in Canada. Here's hoping Luongo does well.
The Brahma Bull
I saw this, great tweet by Luongo. I hope the Luongo we had last season is the one we have going forward, both in his game play and overall attitude.

SamJamIam
So the lack of a choice led to few options for him then? Or was it the lack of options that led to this choice?
Blackberries
Well said and a point well made. But whether he's here by necessity or here by choice, I don't much care and I don't expect it to affect his performance.
DownUndaCanuck
Of course he's going to report, but he's not going to be happy about it. The only way he'll be happy is if the Canucks really start winning again and go deep into the playoffs.
Nino
I'm not sure that's how it went. From the looks of the situation it seemed no other team wanted to take on Luongo's contract, the Canucks had to trade a goalie, they traded Schneider for a song (potentially, hopefully not), and Luongo wins back the #1 position by default while everybody in the organization kisses his ass and begs him to come back.
