So why do you hate the US? I think there needs to be a distinction made between the American people and that of their Government. Yes they have their share of crazies, with a population of 300 million + there are bound to be a few. But generalizations about them here in Canada is mostly out of ignorance. I typically find Americans (more true in the Southern States) to be friendlier than most places I have been in Canada. I have toured the southern states quite frequently and if you have ever heard of Southern Hospitality believe me when I say that it exists down there big time. I sometimes have a problem with their foreign policy and I shake my head at their attitude towards firearms, but in general, I find the people to be more or less like Canadians.
