the last outlaw
Got to thinking what if Jays did a trade with Seattle. M's have pitching whereas Jays have hitting. I was thinking dealing EE to M's for pitching. I don't want to see EE or JB leave but writing is on the wall their both gone at season's end if not sooner depending how the season goes. Obviously, Seattle has King Felix but there's no way they will part with him unless he asks for a trade. What about a deal centered around Hisashi Iwakuma, who Jays were rumored and linked to at the deadline last year. Seattle could also include 1-2 prospects, which could help re-stock Jays farm. All the Jays have now is power. Lots and lots of power. Solo home runs aint gonna win you games. Agreed

Now if EE can start getting some HRs too, the three headed monster will be back. starting pitching looking good so far, bullpen needs work, but better of late. TheRussianRocket.
This is why they have to learn to trust Stroman and let him pitch deep into games and not unnecessarily take him out. Lesson learned from his last game I hope.

Hasn't Donaldson hit safely in like 10 straight games and it seems he hasn't even found his groove. I can't wait until he does.

Yeah, the inning-eating excuse is just what's usually said about dickey. Personally I don't care how many innings he can eat if they're mostly crap.

Tortorella's Rant
I thought he was out as long as you had the ball and your foot is on base. You have to tag him too before he touches? I remember differently when I played as a kid
