CANUCK-EXPRESS
I still think we need one more good starter but we have no one to give up.
ShakyWalton
At least AA is using his assets on good elite pitchers. RA Dickey never had any tenure or pedigree beyond that one season and was 36 years old. I can realistically see a 2-3 year deal being done, with a player option on the third. Probably north of 22 million a year. money talks and Price is worth it. David Price ✔ @DAVIDprice14 I don't care what happens today...I'm taking BP at 2 in Camden no matter what...don't care what anyone says 9:34 AM - 30 Jul 2015 Marcus Stroman ✔ @MStrooo6 I have the chills right now. Lol #excited 9:43 AM - 30 Jul 2015 Josh Donaldson ✔ @BringerOfRain20 It's gettin hot up in the six!! 9:43 AM - 30 Jul 2015 Danny Valencia ✔ @dannyvalencia19 Wow!!! Let's go. #TurnUpInThe6ix 9:45 AM - 30 Jul 2015 Edited July 30, 2015 by ShakyWalton
AV.
Acquire Jake Peavy. Not much of a big starter these days but the team that acquires him at the TD tends to win a WS for whatever reason.
Jiggs50
lol with all this Jays talk from everyone, does this mean people are coming to games now?! I've always wanted to see that place packed -David Price in Dec 2012 Funny guy hahaha

BoKnows
I really hope he signs. It has to be tempting with players like Donaldson, Tulo, Martin and Bautista on the team.
Bobby Hoff
Impossible to not be fired up about this. If Jays can make it to October then a healthy rotation of Price - Buehrle - Hutch - Stroman - Dickey is pretty scary.

RUPERTKBD
Now go get Gallardo Agree. He'd be a great pickup. Problem is, the Rangers would likely want prospects for him. What would be great is if we could flip someone off the roster for pitching help, which is why I come back to the Mets. They have a dominant top three in their rotation, (Harvey, DeGrom and Syndergaard) but are dead last in the league in runs scored. They have a decent #4 starter in Jon Niese (3.75 ERA, 155 innings pitched) and a promising young arm in Jeurys Familia, (2-0, 1.70 ERA) who could and should be of interest to the Jays. The Mets could really use a bat like Edwin's and could likely afford to part with some pitching. They aren't out of the playoff picture, (4 games back in the NL WC) so might be willing to listen, if AA were to make the call.
westcoast
Not much AA ever does actually pans out but I will say he is a master of creating a buzz around the Jays. Edited July 30, 2015 by westcoast

Can't blame him for not trying right now, gotta admire that he's going for it with Price and Tulo.
Tangerines
I can live with that. Losing Hoffman and Castro hurt much more Even though we get the best ss in baseball for the next 5 years?

-Stammer-
are the Jays even going to re-sign Price? I wouldn't go after a player that's a UFA next year

When we acquired Dickey, it looked like a great pickup. The reining NL Cy Young winner, coming off of three good seasons... ...but now we look at Syndergard in NY and think of how good he'd look in the current lineup...
