JohnLocke
Varly is back and it looks like Redmond finally draws in. Great news but those are the only good things I expect to happen. Unless the team has finally woken the heck up in the last few days, I fully expect this to not go well. Even EJ won't be able to stop the Sedins from making fools of Stuart and Hejda. No one other than Johnny Malkin has consistently played well. This isn't even the regression everyone was expecting. It's something else altogether. Even after suffering through the dark Sacco era, I don't remember them ever consistently playing this bad. This isn't just poor puck possession. Not only has everyone forgotten how to play defence but they can't complete a pass to save their lives or execute the simplest of plays. Our supposed best players have all been outplayed by a lot of the role players. If they don't figure it out soon one of the big guys (probably ROR) will be on the way out. We're going to get annihilated tonight. 6-2 for the Canucks. The Sedins utterly humiliate them so much that Hejda and Stuart retire on the spot. If only that could actually happen. Sounds like a classic case of John Tortorella disease.
-DLC-
Back to back games on the road, I'm not expecting a blow out. A close game, we win 3-2. Burr, Bieksa, Daniel. Assist to Deb at home. Thank God we have some entertaining hockey again. Almost forgot how fun it is to be a fan.
4thLineGrinder
whats up with the avs have they tuned out roy already? is iginla a cancer in the dressing room? is half the team having its softmore slump at exactly the same time? has legalized marijuana in Colorado effected the on ice product? anyways, canucks keep the ball rolling here tonight with another good game play a full 60 and we win

ManUtd
Sounds like a classic case of John Tortorella disease. At this point it seems more like a case of too many new faces, wonky lines ruining chemistry, the system being figured out, and Roy not adjusting. I guess he's working on it though since he's apparently been talking to an as of yet unnamed coach who won the cup then missed the playoffs (I assume it's Lemaire). If they don't turn it around soon I'm fine with the every other year trend and just crashing and burning to a top pick to either draft or flip for a high end D. Note: Don't worry Deb I'll stay out of here during the game so I don't inadvertently antagonize anyone.

Quoted
If it isnt, I dont know what is How is it a "must win"? It's not like they'll be mathematically eliminated from the playoffs if they lose. It's an important early season game at best.
Chalky
6-4 Nucks. Lack is going to stand on his head. Sedins and Vrbata combine for 10 pts.

BeefGormley
If we can play solid defensively, we can get those two points and beat the refs. 3-0 Canucks Kassian Bieksa Henrik Sedin. Refs: 0. Let's do this!
jejejester
This one's a tough call, I'm calling 3-2 but I have a feeling Colorado might beat us. Varly might play lights out tonight. Hope to see Corrado as well
