This team has me really excited...first time I've been confident in the entire roster since we won gold.

Winner is first in the group, and that's huge.

I'm also curious to see who Groulx will start after this game, especially if Comrie has a strong game.

Lots of pressure on McDavid. He didn't have a point in the last game (media narrative) and it's the McDEichel showdown (media narrative). The microscope is going to be on Virtanen's line, which may work in Canada's favour because the top line can just go out and do their thing. As will Petan and Fabbri... and Paul I guess.

I'd say it's fair to think it's going to be a tightly played game. Maybe a 3-2 game. My gut-feeling tells me that Petan will continue to play well, hidden on the third line.

Same stakes as the Olympics?

*edit* First picture went down. Hopefully this one stays up.

To be fair, it does say "keeps"... and you guys lost that bet, so...

Are you sure? I thought I saw the Heatherington - Hicketts pairing together for all 3 games.

Maybe it's just me, but I notice Hicketts the least at 5-on-5. I sort of penciled him in as #7.
