That's a great PGT! Some really funny stuff you guys posted.

Great game, this was defo a character win tonight and what a "killer" Vrbata is eh? He's the sort of player i really appreciate, cool, calm, collected, a real pro! And Bo...what a treat to watch him develop; earlydays still but i think he shows signs of a true NHL star.

Also I'd like to see Bonino get back to his early season form, though he's had some good games after the injury but it's getting to the time of the year where guys like Matthias & Kassian should be more consistent as well.

At least this year we're getting entertained...

That game felt like a playoff game. Vrbata has been one of the if not the most consistent forward all season so far. The patience he showed on both goals tonight was amazing. A true goal scorer there. And what can you say about Eddie Lack, he was outstanding tonight. And how about Bo Horvat, What a goal he scored tonight. It sure is nice too see how nicely he's developing. So glad we came up with the win tonight. It always feels so good to beat the Sharks, especially at the shark tank.

Go Canucks Go!!!!

Finally! All the Canucks showed up to play and showed some fire and desperation. One of the best defensive games I've seen in a long time. If we play like this until the end of the season, we'll definitely get a playoff spot. Such a refreshing change and a great and entertaining game to watch. Well done boys! The hockey gods were with us tonight.

For me games like this where Vancouver battles hard against a rival, overcomes a deficit, and is able to get 2 points in regulation are even more entertaining than blowout wins. This was playoff style hockey and shows this team can win games even when they don't start well and doesn't give up after falling behind.

Radim Vrbata has already punched his ticket as a fan favourite in this city. The man is supremely talented and quietly goes about his business of sniping the puck into the back of the net. Canucks fans have yelled "Just shoot it!" way too many times over the past few years only to see the player pass, miss the net, or try some stupid fancy deke that doesn't work. With Vrbata, that's never a problem. If you just call him the shooter, everyone who watches this team will know who you're referring to.

Eddie Lack had some growing pains in the second half of last season when forced into the starting role but right now he is taking his game to a new level. He's already well liked by his teammates but seeing him stand on his head like he did tonight will also sky rocket rocket their confidence in him. Although Vancouver definitely needs Miller to be healthy for the playoffs it won't hurt to have the backup brimming with confidence just in case.

Bo Horvat. Enough said ... but I'll elaborate anyway. Vancouver doesn't have a great drafting history which is why seeing a guy like Horvat play a big role at such a young age is that much sweeter. Earlier in the season he was more focused on his defensive play and making sure his line wasn't scored against. As the season has gone on, the Ox is showing his speed, skill, and strength in the offensive zone as well. Teams that have decent playoff runs usually need some contributions from young players. Big Bo looks ready to do just that.

Reffing atrocious in the first as usual. No idea why there's a Game Misconduct penalty that gets called at times (like Kassian getting one in the game where the refs were tying him up while he was getting punched or Daniel asking the refs if they're gonna call a penalty on Marchand for punching him repeatedly in the face) yet doesn't get called for stuff like Dillon crosschecking Dorsett in the back while Dorsett's engaged with some other player.

Why is it that whenever our goalie gets run into it's never interference, yet we get called for it when we get pushed into the opposition's goalie... Edler would be suspended 3 games if he was the SJ player that ran into Lack. He got as much for running into Smith, and yet the Sharks player doesn't even get a penalty.

Burrows gets interfered with in front of Niemi with a shove up high into his chest knocking him over as he's getting pushed into Niemi, yet our player gets a crosschecking penalty for Pavelski's dive.

Did I say it yet? Great reffing as usual.

True, he is lacking a bit of the the Hossa size. Makes me wonder what his career would look like if he had played with a more gifted play-making centre (Thornton, Crosby, etc) through his prime.

He had the chance to play with Lecavalier and/or Brad Richards years ago (when they were still good) when he signed in Tampa, but for whatever reason he was a total dud there.

hockey gods saved us tonight, if marleau puts away that tap-in empty netter and they got a 3rd goal we were done

still don't know how he missed that lol

True but then what luck did Markstrom get? None. These things have a habit of evening themselves out. We deserved our luck to-night, we gave them 2 of a start and clawed our way back with 3 goals, 2 of them outstanding AND we lost a D in the 3rd.

Haha!I'm working in Medicine Hat tonite..still missed the game saw the Hertl chance Vbata cleared. missed the game but happy for the kid and Vrbata with his magic boom stick.

there's a great spot in the Hat called the Garage that had the game but too busy..missed the Tigers game tonite too lol

The garage isn't bad. I prefer Rosscos for game time though. They have a section in the back called the Tigers zone or something, great to watch a game. The Casino has a few good options too.

Welcome to our little City. PM me if you have questions.

Canucks got lucky tonight in their own zone, score should have been 5-3 Sharks.

We need to tidy up our game defensively, and it's not defence from the forwards that's lacking but defensive work in and around our crease. There are far too many bang-bang plays and cross-crease passes getting through. No forward should be able to walk through the crease and score the way Backes did in the St. Louis game, or the way Karlsson walked right in in the Sharks game. Pathetic defence.

I think when you have mix and match defence, sometimes, those screw ups are going to happen. I hope we can be healthy soon. All of them.
