DeNiro
The Canucks are trying to make room for Jacob Markstrom and GM Jim Benning is seeking a second-round pick in return. hatedkid666
Better be a high 2nd round pick
shazzam
Hopefully, a mid to high second
deadendpath
Interesting. Hopefully it's a high 2nd.
felixthecat_potvin
Always found Lack overrated, probably cause of his personality. He's not yet proven to be a starter, sorry. A second round pick is a good return. I'd try to get a second round pick and a fifth rounder.
250Integra
2nd and a roster player?
N7Nucks
Lack to San Jose for their second. End of an era. Guess it was a pipe dream hoping Benning would move Miller. We all knew Lack was an easier contract to move. Younger, played this team into the playoffs, dirt cheap next year. If this is true gonna miss the big kid. Canucks Curse
Honestly- if I was Edmonton- I would do this. Youngish but good enough to start now. If I was JB, id add in a d man and try to get the Pittsburgh pick (16) and Edmonton's 2nd (33) Lack + Bieksa+Clendening
thejazz97
I can see it. Not ideal, well, maybe it is.
PlayStation
Ugh, a few years ago it was, oh we have Luongo, Schneider looks like he is ready to be a number one, and the kid down there named Eddie Lack? Oh he will come up and be a back up soon and eventually the new number one. Goalie Graveyard no more! And in just a few years, all 3 of them are going to be gone. Down by the River
Did anyone actually click on the original source... All it is is a list of goalies who are 'out there', and what Benning would like in return. It doesn't mean Lack specifically is being shopped. Eddie Lack Canucks The Canucks are trying to make room for Jacob Markstrom and GM Jim Benning is seeking a second-round pick in return. That is the entire extent to which Lack is mentioned in the article. Benning could just as well be trying to make room for Markstrom by moving Miller for a 2nd pick. TheRussianRocket.
Just making hits on his article. Nothing we don't know. JB and management aren't just shopping Lack alone. They're open to offers for all 3 goalies and whichever offer is best will be taken for either one imo.
Gstank29
Lack won't be at the level of Luongo or Schnieder. He will be a number one but not anything that can't be replaced Via trade or UFA
Gally
There is a lot of goalies who are close to Lack's capability in the league so the market for him won't be too high. I think Lack is capable of being a starter in the league but I'd take a 2nd happily. I'm not a fan of Miller but I could live with him for 2 years of mediocrity because there is probably no market for him. Hopefully after Miller goes and Sedins retire we can get this rebuild over with.

felixthecat_potvin
Lack for Yakupov straight up. Put Yakupov on our second line and watch him get 60 points next year.
Keslerific
It's tough for him to be starter with Miller around so one has to be moved. It will definitely be interesting to see what happens come draft day even if this is just a rumour. Making room for Markstrom would give us our first legitimate backup goalie in years so that's interesting.
Down by the River
Honestly the article is &^@#ing embarrassing. Nowhere is there any indication that Lack is being 'shopped'. Lack's name was on a list of goalies that might be available.
Jiggs50
Why not package him with Higgins or something. Get proven younger talent.
