Popular Post oldnews
Pretty impressive to exceed the (high) expectations at the next level. Last year Boeser scored 35 goals and 33 assists in 57 games with Waterloo of the USHL. 1,19 points per game. Good production in the USHL for sure, but the next question was whether he could sustain that at the NCAA level. This year he has 25 goals and 23 assists in 36 games with UND. Has actually increased his production to 1.33 ppg as making the step up.

His strengths are his quick release and accuracy. Boeser can get a shot off in a millisecond so the goaltender has a very short time to get set for the shot. Not only that it's also deadly accurate. Exactly. That's why I liken him to Mike Bossy. Bossy had one of the quickest releases and one of the most accurate shots in NHL history.
Darkstar
Is there any word on if he'll jump to play pro next year? Would love to see him on the Comets/Canucks ASAP. He seems ready to make the jump.

This is in line with Boeser wanting the education part, and the Canucks wanting him to continue to develop.
