Z Hockey
If for some reason, Benning cuts Virtanen and or Gaunce, and possible more guys like Cracknell, I would claim Bickell. He's struggled a lot the past year but that frame and size with that cycle game ability needs a change of scenery. Could be... D. Sedin-H. Why is a guy with his size, toughness, and skill set on waivers? Might there be a Kassian circumstance?
Ilya Mikheyev
Why is a guy with his size, toughness, and skill set on waivers? Might there be a Kassian circumstance? His cap hit is way too big for what he brings now, post a couple injuries. He's not exactly a fast player. Still a 20-30 point player, but got a huge contract after 1 good playoff performance. Don't know what you mean about Kassian circumstance.

Not really wanting to chuck the knuckles, because he thinks he's a top six skill guy.
WHL rocks
Waived in order to void Bickell's limited NTC. He'll clear waiver and be traded to another team not on his NTC exempt list. CHI will retain some of his salary and/or take another bad contract back.
