First, there have long been rumours about Eichel having attitude issues so this could conceivably be true. I just don't see anything really concrete yet. timberz21 Posted April 19, 2017 Share Posted April 19, 2017 Easy way to solve this problem by Murray is : Keep Bylsma for another year/half of year and then fire him. Eichel's ultimatum is he won't re-sign if Bylsma is the coach, therefore if he's not there anymore, shouldn't be any excuse not to sign next summer. Also, that way Murray get to save face and doesn't give in to Eichel's demand by firing him right now. Win-win. If the Sabres are suddenly winning with Bylsma next year, then Eichel won't have the choice to re-sign if he wants to stay true to his "winning" comments at year-end.
