It started last night but I was too tired to look out the window. Wake up at 10 this morning, and "whoa!", it's still foggy. Loving the ambiance it creates for studying though. Currently, it's dark and the fog is really dense, almost zero visibility. And yeah, do not use high beams - how did those people get their licenses? -Vintage Canuck- Posted January 4, 2018 Share Posted January 4, 2018 Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for most of the region: Quote Fog advisory in effect for: City of Vancouver - including Burnaby and New Westminster Metro Vancouver - northeast including Coquitlam and Maple Ridge Metro Vancouver - southeast including Surrey and Langley Metro Vancouver - southwest including Richmond and Delta North Shore - including West Vancouver and North Vancouver Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring over some areas. Moisture trapped under a strong temperature inversion will continue to give fog and areas of poor visibility tonight. The fog is forecast to dissipate Thursday morning as a Pacific frontal system approaches the coast. If travelling, be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility. Fog advisories are issued when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
