thejazz97
Friendly reminder to everyone that 50 contracts is the contract limit. Unsigned players don't count and we'll allow flexibility over the offseason, but come opening night, everyone should be at 50 or under!

Art Vandelay
@thejazz97 @Salter (or whoever does this stuff) Am I able to Terminate the contract of Mathias From? I can’t find a link that announces his signing, but his Hockey db page clearly shows he’s playing in Europe.

Art Vandelay
I believe Ottawa’s offseason is pretty much completed. A few minor tweaks are needed. But overall we are done; we are out of contract spots, salary cap, expendable assets and draft picks. If the new salary ceiling is the expected $83M, we will have just over $6M in cap. Which we will use to gain more assets for the future. Our most urgent needs are another top 6 center and top 4 Dman. We will have to wait another year to acquire one or hope a prospect will fill those roles. We don’t know for sure how our roster will compare to others in Fantasy, but in a RL league we wouldn’t fair too bad a for a rebuilding team. 2019/2020 Roster Andreas Johnsson - Mat Barzal - Ondrej Kase Patrik Maroon - ??? - Ilya Kovalchuk Anthony Beauvillier - Tyson jost - Anthony Duclair Jujhar Khaira - Freddie Gauthier - Stefan Noesen EXT: Abdekader, Gagner, Rask Vince Dunn - Damon Severson Zdeno Chara - ??? Marc Staal - Juuso Riikola EXT: Petrovic, Dotchin, Lajoie Pekka Rinne Carter Hart EXT: Montoya AJ Greer - Morgan Geekie - Taylor Raddysh Evan Barratt - Josh Norris - Aleksi Heponiemi Tyler Steenbergen - Jansen Harkins - Glenn Gawdin Mathias From - Alex Limoges - Otto Somppi EXT: Bondra Max Gildon - Josh brook Mikey Anderson - Jeremy Lauzon Colby Sissons - Connor Hobbs EXT: Inamoto Adin Hill Vitek Vanecek Prospects Alex Turcotte Joel Farabee Akil Thomas Johnny Gruden Jake Wise

I needed cap relief, he needed players, this works for both sides. Kadri has been an excellent producer for us, with 50% retained salary, but now that his retention is over, his cap hit was harder to manage. And Benn was an impending UFA that has been quietly solid, but there just wasn't enough room for him. Foudy is a good prospect, and hopefully we can find a gem with the late pick. pmalina
Sharks are officially making Devan Dubnyk available. Aging no. 1 goalie in Minnesota on a good contract. Our team aims to contend starting the 2020/21 season again and other players are on the board including: Jonas Brodin, Ryan Getzlaf. We are open to discuss Jamie Benn as well even though he remains to be our star who will be hard to move. We are looking for both 2019 and 2020 picks and prospects. Lastly, I wanna send thanks to @Salter, @thejazz97 for being so active and helpfull in directing the league to the draft.
