I always liked the "if you 2 don't knock it off we're turning the car around!" approach since as kids we often didn't want to go where we were driving toward anyways, and if we really did want to go, so did the folks.  

 

Such an empty threat that was never followed up on :lol:

I didn't say tie, I said great teams don't lose 3 in a row. But good try.

 

(They don't play 3 on 3 overtime or have shootouts in the playoffs last time I checked)

My stepdad used to pull over and make my brother and I do push ups at the side of the highway.

My real dad just refused to take us anywhere.

I only wish Grapes had focused his attention on the ahats stealing poppy boxes....like deliberately sliding under a coat then bolting stuff.

 

That is the ultimate disrespect.

 

I agree that everyone should honour our veterans...however, part of what they fought for was the right to decide on things.  So if people don't wear a poppy that's part of it?  Personally, I bought one and it fell off (no lie) within 10 minutes and I lost it.  How about those straight pin daggers in the heart?  Those are brutal.   I replace mine (straight pins that come with poppies and try to kill me) with a little lapel pin that has a backing...if I can do so before it falls off and I lose it.  

 

Don speaks straight and from the heart.  I don't think anyone should be offended because he didn't single out "a race"...and we're all immigrants if we're not First Nations.  So think of it that way.
