yes we can nucks
27 minutes ago, Odd. said: Think Columbus lost like 9 or 10 of their last 13 or 14 games lol ... which is why the Nucks could struggle. They seem to take 'weaker' teams lightly and now they're in a hole because of it. I hope they play with desperation today and win big, 6-1. Scoring from all lines. Petey breaks his drought.

-DLC-
Wonder if it's injury or illness? Beagle? Sutter and Myers have been sick...wonder if there's a bug going around on the bench? Would explain some of the energy deficiency at times.

The best information (although not yet clearly definitive enough for my liking) is that Tryamkin is ineligible to sign a contract to play for the Canucks this season and cannot do so until July 1st, 2020. It appears since he was a restricted free agent (RFA) when he left Vancouver in 2017, he is governed by the same rule that prohibited Oilers’ property Jesse Puljujarvi from signing an NHL contract after December 1st, 2019 this season” https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.nucksmisconduct.com/platform/amp/2020/2/26/21125698/canucks-overseas-prospects-update Edited March 1, 2020 by Setyoureyesontheprize

Popular Post -DLC-
1 hour ago, canuck2288 said: No that’s not the case he can sign and play this season But if the issue's coaching, what does it matter? I'm not disputing that we obviously have some glaring issues - we do. But if we're crossing our fingers, waiting for a saviour and that instills hope, wouldn't it indicate that it's more a player issue than a coaching one? I do recognize that you feel the dispatchment of players is the coach's decision and a big part of the problem. But people are also throwing out lack of a system...so does it matter who's out there then? If it's a system related issue, plug in another guy and the problem remains? If we're calling for the coach's head shouldn't we just leave the status quo re players until we figure that end out? Seems a bit rush to judgement to throw the baby, bathwater, coach and players out. I'm not looking to argue...clearly, this team runs very hot and cold for reasons unknown. I'm just not sure anyone here has it figured out and I'd rather we do allow some patience to work through things rather than keeping trying this, that and the other in a constant dog chasing a tail way as the suggestions would have us doing. Losses seem to generate a lot of desperation but I'm not sure the team should react on that. Even IF it means missing the playoffs...I feel this group has to learn to figure it out together. Not plug in/out in a way that doesn't support "it's a coaching issue" as much as it does "it's a player personnel issue". And keeps changing the markers rather than the "system" as some are suggesting. I keep thinking "make or break time" and it's soon going to be too late at the "make" end of things if we continue to slide in the wrong direction. But if there is something the coach knows that we don't? It's not always "shared information". We're all over the map with "solutions" so, just as we call for consistency from the team, I'd like our ideas to be consistent and some are contradictory. If it's the coach and his (lack of) an effective system, new players won't fix that. Right? I'm certainly not informed enough to know what would fix things. But I've seen us go hot/cold all season .... but other teams do too. Confidence and momentum really factor in. Goaltending is HUGE and we're experiencing that...but it isn't like it's a unique deal to this team only. Timing is everything. We could use one of our hot streaks ... and yes, I understand Marky really led the charge in that - but all teams that get hot usually have someone/s doing that. I'm also not willing to "decide" on Demko yet....coaching can make the difference and we've seen that. Sad that it comes in a crash course way as we really need every point...but, "it is what it is". This team is still going through growing pains but I, for one, have seen some things to be very hopeful and excited over. Not a finished piece yet, but closer than many expected at the beginning of the year. Perspective. 3
