Why not put MacEwen out there at the end when Larsson was on the ice for them?

What are you trying to accomplish at 4-1 with 50 seconds to go.

Green neutered Roussel and now in the process of doing it to MacEwen.

Not edler thank god

I really have to watch what I say here, but Edler is number 1 on the list of players we can improve upon.  Having Rathbone and Juolevi rotate in and out would be a huge improvement over this season's Edler minutes.

There’s nothing more you can ask from a goal scorer. He’s become one of our most consistent players. He’s solid in both ends. He’ll never be a penalty killer or a defensive specialist but you can rely on him 5 on 5.
There’s nothing to make an argument about unless you just dislike the guy. Which is bizzare on its own.

Agree... he’s also an underrated passer.. not hank or petey calibre but he’s a top 6 passer.

i wish I could find that graphic they posted during the broadcast where they listed fastest players to 200 points and he was in the company of some of the most talented players we’ve had in franchise history.

Highmores on pace for 1 shot per game lol.

with 15 minutes of ice time .
add vessy Boyd and hawerler to the list and not sure how anyone can be surprised.

developing  the future that’s not greens way.
play the ineffective plugs over the  actual future.

Lets face it, Green was only playing Highmore to butter up his GM.  Whos holding up a contract over his head. Don't want to embarrass big Jim about who he brought back for the hockey Gaud, who got 4 points in his first 3 games with Chicago.

As a result of Benning's fiddles and trades, the Canuck's current bottom six is a black hole.

None of the guys he picked off waivers or traded for are worth their weight in sweaty socks.

None of them are anywhere near as capable as Gaudette.

Why is Mathew Highmore getting so much time in the top six?????  Is Green sucking up to Benning and trying to prove him right????

Highmore has a Hockey IQ of zero... everytime he gets the puck he does exactly the wrong thing.  If he gets the puck on his stick and there is an odd man advantage for the Canucks, he won't convert that into a scoring chance, instead he'll squander it.  Happened 2-3 times in the game.

On a positive note:

Kole Lind is doing the little things well.  He seems to have a decent Hockey IQ, good hands for a pass, haven't seen many shots, but I suspect that is there too.

I don't think he is top six, but could be a decent third line player, may be able to replace Gaudette.  Too bad they won't have a chance to play together.

All the losses are painful to watch... but more chance for a decent pick.
