2022 NHL Entry Draft

So Miller remains for now with both sides apparently not on the same page regarding a contract, we pick a wing, and we're still capped out

Management has a lot of work to do, free agency could set off a lot of dominos

Would have liked to see it for the Canucks if they had multiple firsts.

They went with the safe pick though.

Ya this pick made sense for us I think. If we traded miller to pits we would have gotten Pickering too that woulda worked nice in hindsight

I really like Pickering

Minimum 2 year plan based off our contract situation if we don't want to pay to remove cap. This is not a 1 off season turn over IMO anyways

I've said I don't see us contending sooner than later, I stand by that

I think it'll take longer to turn this thing around

I think free agency will be telling, I still think he goes

But yeah, disappointing

well they won't be doing anything for FA if they just continue the path they're on, but it is a window for a Miller deal if nothing happens at the draft
