NHL 22 Thread

They'd never do it, but if EA actually took a year off making an NHL game to make a polished game for once, I'd 100% buy it.

It frustrates me how they add features, but never fix their old broken ones. The number of silly simple glitches and bugs I find in these games is ridiculous. I wish they gave the programmers more time to work that stuff out.

Unfortunately, their main focus is Madden and FIFA, as those sports/games have larger audiences and bring in the $, therefore those divisions get a bigger budget, and more resources to work with. NHL is always a couple years behind those two in development. They're only now switching NHL from the 'Ignite' engine to the 'Frostbite' engine, which FIFA got in 2017, Madden in 2018.

I think a permanent release date every 2 years (aside from expansion years), and just have bi-weekly roster updates in the interim would be the best thing for this game.

They could have put someone without a greasy porn 'stache on it instead though.

I like it he’s the face of the team, just like porn, he makes Leafs fans finish early.

Would be the best for users, but EA might not like the lack of new revenue every year. I would be 1000% on board for that model though, especially if there was no additional cost to me.

Wow, I never realized how big of a pick Madden was for the Canucks as a 68th overall pick in 2018
