But Petro said he's hesitant to commit because he could be away from his family for 4 or 5 weeks if positive test and quarantine in China. The IIHF has created a 5M fund to pay for the salaries of players who miss time due to testing positive - Friedman says it's not clear what happens if the funds run out and there are still players in quarantine.
