Bruce put Petey back with Hogs and Pods.  Last time those three were together, they were MAGIC.  I can't believe it's taken him so long to reunite that line!  I'll call it here, that line scores 4, Petey with 2, Hogs and Pods with one each.

In the case of LE, the NHL allowed a special clause where coaches are allowed to sign players, and players can play for multiple teams. LE now plays for every team in the NHL.

I wish Boudreau would go back to the lines from when he first joined the team. Which would just entail swapping Garland from the second to the third, and bringing hogs up.

 

Pearson - Miller - Boeser

Dickinson - Horvat - Hoglander

Podkolzin - Petterson - Garland

Motte - Lammikko - Chiasson

 

I think Dickinson played his most effective hockey for us with those two during that stretch. Still needs to work on his release tho…
 

And I also really liked Petey with Podz and Garland. Podz has solid forecheck pressure + speed and Garland is amazing at puck retrieval, which lets Petey do his thing and use his Offensive IQ.

 

Would love to see Hunt out of the lineup. Much prefer Burroughs. He’s not the biggest or best, but I LOVE that he stands up for players and throws his weight around as best he can. Also clears the f***ing net at whistles which our D is so lazy about. Need more of that.

 

Anywho, looking forward to the game! Go Canucks go!

haha! I was just trying to listen to it again and it could be "hits the pass" too... the only thing I know is it is "pass"
