Popular Post SilentSam
Heard it from the horses mouth in the 2nd intermission of third Rangers Penguins tilt. Burns in the move? Last year of contract.. how about 50% retained for our 15th overall? if we can sign him to a 4m x 3 per yr extension? 6

Sounds like that OEL trade all over again.

He has some kinda mNTC though. EDIT: His mNTC is terrible. He submits a 3 team trade list every year. Which means he can't be traded to 29 teams every year. Nucker 67
I was at the Sharks game this season and Burns was awful. I just hope JR doesn't do anything silly here.

NEVER NEVER It’s hilarious that Friedman suggested the Sharks were looking for the right return for either of their Norris Right shot D in Karlsson or Burns. Those are two of the worst contracts in the league. No one is offering anything for either. The sweetener would be a lot to move those two. 1

erkayloomeh
If we make a deal for Burns we would be very confused around here as there would be three BB's. Sharks would have to agree to keep his beard.
dontaylorforprez
Pretty sure this would be taking steps backwards… we might as well sign miller for top dollar while we’re at it.
mll
3 hours ago, SilentSam said: JT waived his didn’t he ?? Something happened there. RFA years can't have trade clauses. JT had a modified NTC on his UFA years but he was traded prior to it coming into effect. That NTC didn't travel with him because Vancouver declined to honour it and the clause got voided. He was traded at the 2019 draft and that trade clause would have only started for the 2020/21 season. Now trade clauses automatically travel with the player even if he waives. Reason why OEL has a full NMC throughout his deal.
