DiPietro has no value. Other GMs see the same thing - he's too small for a goalie in today's game. Maybe he'll have a career after hockey similar to Jamie McLennan.

Isn't he the same height as saros?  Maybe not the average size of goalies these days.  But you can't quantify heart, will, fight and IQ.  So Dipietro has no worth for trade right now, but see how this year goes.  See if he proves the doubters wrong.

Something's gotta give at the AHL level as Ryan Johnson has essentially said they're going to be playing Silovs, a lot.  Then you have MDP and Delia there as well and it's all of a sudden a pretty crowded crease....

True but if there are no takers... There's no takers.  He's going to have to perform and take starts away from the other two.  We'll see what he's made of for sure.  I'm rooting for him!

He's still young and learning but he is definitely no Saros. Same height but Dipietro looks way smaller in net somehow.

He leans to far forward when in his stance, when you’re as short as he is you have to play a more hybrid style, he goes down to early and tries to rely on his reflexes more than his positioning. There’s no way he can cover the top part of the net when in the butterfly, he will not have an nhl career if he doesn’t make significant changes to how he plays. It’s been 3 years he’s not going to change so cut him loose

DiPietro needs to go down to AHL and focus on getting his game back. Once he gets some starts and looks like a valuable prospect again, we can probably find somewhere to move him. He has the core talent, he just needs to play. Covid really disrupted his development cycle.
