Popular Post Echo Park
Hello! It is that time of year again! In the spirit of Down By The River I will keep my version of the prospect stat tracker going this year. This thread is for keeping track of some of the Canucks prospects until the end of the 2022-23 season. My definition of prospect is not nuanced and I have included ones that I personally enjoy keeping track of. If there is someone that you want on the list that hasn't been added, please let me know! I will not keep track of potential draft eligibles, sorry about that. Questions you may have: How often will I update? I will do my best to update monthly. Where do I get the stats from? From the league websites or from eliteprospects depending on availability. If you have any particular questions or if you notice an error, please feel free to contact me. Dec 10, 2022 - All injured players have now returned to their lineups - Hugo Gabrielson, Daimon Gardner, and Karl Plasek. Karl Plasek has been loaned to the Czech League and has been moved to the European Section Nov 5, 2022 - Removed Traded Players Spoiler Tuesday Oct 11, 2022 Spoiler Edited December 10, 2022 by Echo Park Updated Stats Dec 10 3 6

Mackcanuck
Very Interesting read here that the Canucks have the youngest roster of any of the Canadian teams https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/sabres-to-the-penguins-the-full-spectrum-of-nhl-team-trajectories-1.1871126 Let’s start with our early-stage teams. Here, we are looking for one standard deviation below league average age. The Buffalo Sabres have the youngest roster across hockey, but notably, this group includes one Canadian team – the Vancouver Canucks

I believe he is in there under the Pro-League, AHL section, sandwiched between the injured Karl Plasek and Marc Gatcomb. At the time of posting he had 10 points in 7 games, which is pretty good all things considered. Let me know if there's anything else I may have missed, or people you'd like me to track. Bobby James
This is great thank you. Is christian wolanin too old to be on here? I guess would make sense if so since he is 27. Edited December 14, 2022 by Bobby James

However, at the beginning of the season I didn't have an interest in him as a player.

bigg_bri
Lockhart is still a Canucks prospect, yes? He wasn't noted as such on an OHL program recently and a reference by the Mississauga Steelheads announcer today 'former Canucks' something or other, made me wonder.
