Provost Posted November 22, 2022 Share Posted November 22, 2022 Miller would be a better fit for Buffalo. They can't sign UFAs to come live in their crappy town on a team just as bad as the Canucks. Getting Miller who is under club control has a ton more value to them than Bo who wouldn't likely agree to an extension. Dahlin is a top pairing guy who can play on either side and is currently putting up as many points as Bo... but as a defenceman. His value is just more than our players. I would totally trade Miller, Garland, and Rathbone for Dahlin.. and see what else they would want us to add. At 22 he is still young enough to fit into a rebuild and under cap control long enough he can't just leave. Trade anyone else or Chychrun (who can also play both sides) and we have the foundation for a really nice rebuild from the net out. Chychrun, Hughes, and Dahlin supplemented by some steady physical veterans like Schenn and you have a very solid D even if you still have OEL in the mix as he would be expensive to move.
