[Rumour] Canucks Getting Calls on Luke Schenn

Nashville came out and said the price for Ekholm is 2x 1st round picks.

WTF does that make Schenn worth then?  A late first?  2nd +?

Seriously wtf are GMs smoking right now and is it a good feeling to be validated when you constantly remind people GMs can't help themselves when they hit the TDL after hearing X or Y is impossible?

Yes.  Yes it is.

Am I the only one who thinks Schenn will still be a Canuck when deadline passes?

It's definitely a possibility. If teams are only offering a 4th, what's the point? Resign the guy to play with Hughes. 3 years 2-2.5 per sounds fair.

Anything less than a second, I'd say just keep and re-sign the big guy.

Which is fine by me if he stays, we'll end up making other deals

Winnipeg has some interesting prospects. I'd take this prospect for Schenn straight up for example, young RD named Elias who was taken in the 2nd round last draft. https://www.capfriendly.com/players/elias-salomonsson

Heinola would be a coup, almost certainly doesn't happen. https://www.capfriendly.com/players/ville-heinola

Chibrikov could be interesting. https://www.capfriendly.com/players/nikita-chibrikov

Older for a prospect, nearly 24, but could be of interest to management. https://www.capfriendly.com/players/kristian-vesalainen

Winnipeg or any team in the Western conference makes the most sense. Think the teams in the East already loaded up.
