Popular Post RU SERIOUS
While he's been mostly on the heels of our previously worst +/- player (Boeser - who's not far behind him as 37th), As of Jan 4th, Miller has now surpassed him and (tied) as the 17th worst +/- player in the entire National Hockey League out of all 825 players and only 2 +/- slots from being in the Top 10 Worst in the entire League. As the panel on HNIC pointed out during the game against Calgary on Saturday and what has been more than obvious to most "Normal" fans, is that he doesn't seem to "walk his talk" about working hard or effort. Now that he's "all set & snug" with his new contract, is this decline and his "checked-out - I don't give a Fu(# " attitude what we'll have to endure until the next decade in the early 2030's when his contract finally runs out, or will we ever see the great effort he made in his contract year again, or will the Canucks finally unload him this year before it's too late and his NTC kicks in from his new contract next year and we're stuck with him until the 2030's in the next decade? Popular Post alt kilgore
I think Hrudey, the CBC panel, the rest of the national media, the local sports media, the other threads and posts in here is enough Miller bashing for one day. Give it a rest. 2 5
Alflives
And Quinn Hughes, playing 25+ minutes and with #7 D, is a ppg and a plus 2. We have some absolutely phenomenal young players in Petey and Quinn. 1 1 1
Popular Post Junkyard Dog
Leads the Canucks in giveaways too. Gonna get worse when he’s not on Horvat’s wing. Good for a high pick though 1 3 1

Good for a high pick though Who's got $8 million in cap space? See if Anaheim is willing to trade a 2nd rounder, and Hinds? Or see if they are willing to give up Drysdale? Or Miller, Stillman and Rathbone for Klingberg so our defence can suck even more? Edited January 1, 2023 by Ghostsof1915 1
jyu
A wild speculation of mine is that Miller may have been using pain killers (the similar ones that Kesler used). After having signed the retirement contract, he may have eased off on those drugs. That's why he's little slower compared to last season. Anyways, the management blew it big time. 1

They could take mantha, but if NB is finished, I'd Target Eller and their first.

Popular Post Crabcakes
I tell ya, getting raked over the coals on HNIC doesn't help with his marketability 1 2
Crabcakes
The thing with Horvat though, is that the damage has already been done. Miller got the $8M contract and Horvat is a more valuable player even if this is the best year of his career. It's still not a great plan to pay your 2C north of $8M imo. Having said that, it's still better for the Canucks if they keep Horvat and trade Miller. 1

Bo is equally as valuable (IMHAO) and should get the same total dollars, even though he’s not anywhere close to Miller’s production and is about the same defensively. We will extend Bo at 7 mil x 8 years. 56 mil.
