I doubt they are going to play him.

He has been kicking ass in Abby.

They are probably bringing him up to give him an NHL paycheque as a good job.

He might dress and back up a game, but I doubt the plan is to bring him in to get lit up behind our dog pooh team.
That’s bad management

Could management be seeing where Silovs’ game is at the NHL level? I’m thinking Clarke would be involved in any choice to play Silovs’ too.

Sure, but why?
They will have Demko and Delia.
Don’t ruin the kid’s confidence.
The preseason is where you check them out.
And yeah obviously Clark would be involved

Silov deserves an NHL start... this season is a meaningless one anyway... so might as well give him a chance.

Trip up to the big team also gives Clarke a chance to evaluate him and provide advice.

Pretty sure he's been working with Clark all along.

Is Silovs waiver exempt next year? At some point don’t we need to make a decision on these young guys before they need to clear waivers to be sent down? Maybe it’s that time for Silovs?

Yes, Clark probably worked with him in the pre-season, but doubt he had much time since the NHL season started... he's been focused on the tire fire which is the Canucks' goalie situation.

Isn't that one of the big advantages to having your farm team in the same city?

I'm honestly not sure if coaches can move back and forth or not
