Gove them a C-. Can't wait till this management gets the can.

If it’s a sliding scale I think other teams bumped us up.

We did acquire a top 4 D man, a former top 10 player, a decent prospect for a cap dump.

They failed to move out a big contract which would have obviously made it a B+ or higher IMO.

And the Canucks have 6 months to continue to alter the team

they weren’t gonna fix all their problems today

Well, they certainly put themselves into cap problems this TDL, so they didn't help themselves.

Why do you fans whine and complain all the time?

I grade the Canucks TD as a B

shed cap space for next year - check

bring in some picks - check

improve the blueline for next year - check

traded all valued UFA’s - check

grease a team as a broker for a young player - check

the better time to deal boeser, garland or Miller is at the draft

Overall I agree, I think people are way too focused on the one trade and not looking at the overall picture.

All will be forgiven if they can move out Miller and that horrible contract before his nmc kicks in. I don't care what we get back as long as it does not have long term cap implications.

Canucks likely will have to give up even more picks to shed cap this off-season as well.

Yuuup. Every time management makes good moves to clear cap, the extra flexibility burns a whole in their business suit pockets and they make things worse for themselves.

This....what management is saying, and they seem to be doing are completely disconnected. Between the Horvat trade and now looked good, then we took on more $$ and traded picks....I just don't know what to even think anymore haha

its like this team purposely wants to stay up against the cap lol

we're not in any position to be demanding specific assets for our cap dumps.

I really thought they would've moved at least one of boeser, garland or miller by today...

we still have no cap space and no draft capital. srsly?

i'll wait until the summer but i don't think things will change tbh with the way this management has been all over the place with their moves.

last summer when we thought mgmnt would restock the prospect/draft pool, they pulled off that miller non-trade and re-signed him to his retirement contract. lol.

idek anymore.
