Why would Binnington act out if he's playing well/winning?

When Binnington stands up for himself, such as saying he thought he was the best rookie, everyone whines about it.

Oh I don’t care too much about that. When he’s not playing well and he goes after people with his stick and blocker. It’s more his pride is hurt. Not that the players actually did anything significant. It’s not like they ran him

In this case he crossed the line. Hartman has a reputation for crossing the line too, so maybe there was some history between them.

But other times where Binnington gets flak, I think it's overblown. The guy's a winner, he can chirp others if he wants to.

A shame to see him get suspended, he's the only goalie in the league that shows any personality.

Thats not showing personality. JT Miller shows personality. A blocker punch to an unsuspecting player for incidental contact is just dirty and gutless. If they dont suspend him now, it only encourages him to continue.

I wouldnt be surprised if the Blues are secretly happy about this. Get him and his garbage save percentage off the ice for a couple games.

Disappointing that the refs didn’t let them go

The hilarity that would have ensued would have been great for TV.

MAF beats down JB - hilarious

JB beats down MAF - emboldens JB even more.

The fact that Berube is annoyed makes the whole thing even funnier

Fleury's great, but Binnington is the bigger personality.

Not too many NHLers give their honest opinion. Binnington is refreshing in that regard.

The hate he gets is hypocritical.

Deserved, because he's a complete dirt bag fake tough guy.

Miller shows personality, often in a frustrated way just like Binnington.

The only way the Blues would be happy about this is it helps the tank.
