Are the Sedins the only top line players in the league that can't score in the shootout?

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it

One day some of us will look back on the year and look at the chicago, and most of us will realize that it was a small bump in the road to the cup

Schroeder looked pretty good out there. Nice passes. Glad to see he finally got his chance with the big club, been watching on the wolves past couple of years.

You didn't think giving Kassian 1st line minutes with the Sedins was enough?

Seems to me he already has...

Kassian too stronk.

So smooth and the kid is exuding confidence with the way he's playing right now.

Yup agreed, the line looked a little out of sorts but its a patchwork. I think tonight was a good chance to get his feet wet, understand the speed and the physical demand. He's only going to get better and i can't wait to watch.

Thanks for this, didn't realize he did that well tonight. the first game people were going off about him losing that draw to selanne. watched the ducks the other night and selanne takes those draws on the powerplay. manny didn't forget how to take draws, hope he can continue to prove it.

Lots of positive signs tonight

1. Kassian - yes he was an offensive star tonight but what I liked was the effort in back to backs. His TERRIFIC chemistry cycling with Hank and Dan, will only allow us to have Burr move to the second and become the playmaker with Kes. He threw alot of hits, protected the puck well and other than a few times wasn't out of position defensively too much. What I liked as well was his fight on that goal, and his energy when he scored, we're seeing his passion now, and that is what will help turn him into something great. Atta Boy Kass - Cody who? lol..this kid plays like this consistently, Barry Pedereson went the other way and we got Neely back, this is why MG traded for him and you're seeing what he has the POTENTIAL to become if he keeps working hard and gains consistency (last being the hardest but very tied to the first (work ethic, which he seems to have)).

2. Schnieds needed this one. He let in two off the post, no one is stopping that, and one off the post in the shootout, everything else, stoned. Nice comeback game atta boy.

3. Schroeder looked fine. Played well both ways and excellent on the pp. I think he should be centering line two and move Burr back to the wing.

4. Mayray, looked pretty good and a great snipe...no complaints.

5. Defense still giving up a little too much but improving. Did clear the puck well for the most part.

Good win, did what they needed. Stay out of the box and we win 4-0...

Why use Burrows now? Kipper has plenty of time to remember Alex's one move.

edit: I guess it doesn't matter. woo

No need to celebrate too much. Flames are the bottom of the league. We got 2 points, but this won't cut it for long.
