tas
so next year reimer will still be their starter and bernier will look like the average backup he is.

King Heffy
Bad fit. Leafs just needed a vet to mentor Reimer. Now they get a full fledged goaltending controversy, lose a solid prospect and a pick. Nonis just got fleeced.
Watermelon
Heres to hoping that Bernier suck for them really bad and they trade him for nothing then he becomes a all-star vezina goalie.

Maniwaki Canuck
Glad to see Toronto crossed off the list: NYI, Philadelphia or Florida as trade partners, please.
AriGold
Reimer must be pretty upset at this, this shows no confidence in him. If it was a Veteran then it's not as bad but Bernier will be seen as a replacement.

mpt
But they wouldn't take Luongo for Scrivens and 2 2nds... So days the rumor by Nonis' cousin which made no sense for us to do at the deadline. That was likely Nonis' offer to us
UFCanuck
The "Veteran" goaltender they have been talking about for the last 2 years. Glad we aren't making a deal with the Laffs. Luongo is going somewhere for sure though.
Me_
But they wouldn't take Luongo for Scrivens and 2 2nds... Check out Luongo's contract. Now check out Bernier's contract. Did you come up with a conclusion?
Down by the River
Scrivens was the perfect backup for Reimer because he is such a level headed guy with a team-first attitude. He has an easy-going personality which I think meshed well with Reimer, who sometimes seemed a bit rattled. Now that he has Bernier really pushing him, I don't see him responding that well. Lonny_Bohonos_14
Seems like a step price for little or no improvement. Even long term, there's no gaurentee that Berneir will be better than Reimer is now (average starter). I think Frattin will fit right into LAK team. Which is unfortunate since they'll be in the Canucks division next year.
