We are lacking experience both on the PP and 5 on 5. Lots of drive but no experience. Gagner will provide this until some of the injured return. Maybe he will surprise, I guess time will tell. You might be right, I'm good with this move if it means moving Granny to the wing & sitting one of Motte or Liepcic , those guys have been passengers for sure
King Heffy
If he's willing to work hard this time around and doesn't moan about his role, I guess it's OK. Green had better keep this pylon on a real short leash.
Where'd Luongo?
1 hour ago, RetroCanuck said: Makes sense really. Gaudette and Motte could really use some more time in the AHL and the Comets could really use them. Guys like Gaunce and Leipsic aren't stepping up with the opportunity so why not call him up and hope he can come back in motivated and make an impact. Might of been the wake up call he needed Gaunce has 3 points in 3 games and only played 4 minutes yesterday.
JeremyCuddles
Hard to deny the fact something needs to happen. Hopefully Gags proves he’s worth a damn still. He gets a lot of flack, from myself included, for his comments on the way out and the comments around the league about him being waived. But this team needs a kick in the pants with all this losing. Prove yourself Gags.

I picked this comment out, because Megna 2.0 is Motte. He skates fast all over the place and gets very little done. He's essentially a PK specialist. Schaller really hasn't found his game yet. Gaunce and Archibald aren't in a healthy lineup for Green, so I like the call up. I think Goldobin is doing fine. He just needs to stay in his role for an extended period of time. Think about how many times he's been shuffled around and demoted since we acquired him. I'm willing to give him the time to develop into a top 6 player, because he has shown flashes of it so far this season.

Qwags
Good. Gags is going to come in with a chip on his shoulder. Besides, this will probably be his last chance.

Playing with the best offensive player the Canucks have and he has 2 goals. He is the best penalty killer the Canucks have, unfortunately it’s the Canucks power play that he kills. Might be an N H L player one day but not now. Like Motte Leipsic Pouliot Gaudette they should be in the minors

-AJ-
Worth noting that Gagner is actually perfoming quite well in Toronto with 15 points in 15 games for the Marlies. I find it admirable that he's still trying to keep his job while in the AHL.
