Where's the bite on this team? This is where I am at to a large degree. Add Boeser in the lineup and you have what should be a 3 line scoring forward group. The defense needs better structure and the forwards need to play much better in the defensive zone as well. Fixing the defensive structure is the one thing I put on Green. Its consistently the same breakdowns and he needs to adjust. Letting guys walk out from the corner to the slot uncontested or leaving the trailing guy wide open in the slot are just not mistakes that should be happening the amount they are. 4 of the last 5 goals they have given up were directly related to this. And almost every game we see a handful or more dangerous chances based on this particular breakdown. I believe if not this year, then next year for sure. I believe he deserves it. If we don't get in next year, then perhaps the likelihood of his dismissal will come to fruition and he'll just be another Willy D......OR............. Hmm. I do expect Green to be on a hotseat if we r off to an early summer golf. But that kind of disappointment is way too early to even consider right now. One thing is for sure tho. This team came a long way since last year and the year before that. And it's not just all players. He's lead a good season. Is there better coach than him out there? Sure, I think so.
