    Friedman reporting that Gulutzan is going to get an interview for Calgary's vacant coaching position. If Travis Green doesn't get a HC position, could he possibly be brought up as Assistant Coach?

      NO!! Travis has said he has no intention of being an assistant. He could have gone to Pittsburgh with Johnston as an assistant two seasons ago so why would he come up as assistant now?

      True, but to know we were so close to having our franchise piece, while instead the Leafs got him :(. I'm sure we will get a fantastic player with the 5th, but I personally don't like PLD.

      No reason u can't take Chychrun at #1. Honestly I think there is very few bonafide #1 Ds in the league. Doughty, Keith, Weber, to a lesser extent - Suter, Subban, Giordano. I'd take the defenseman every time.

    What a great career Sami! A true legend, that will always bleed blue and green! It's too bad the injuries finally caught up to him, but I happy to hear that he is moving back to Vancouver and could have a future role within the organization!
