it really annoys me when people say that a team like Tampa Bay doesn't deserve to win the cup because they have one of the smaller fan bases. They built a powerhouse over time after going through some tough years and they don't deserve to win because they don't have as many fans as, for example, Winnipeg? It pisses me off, GMs are there to build teams and Stanley Cups aren't awarded to the team with the best fans, sorry to say

So yeah, Ho-Sang has been a magnet for headlines. And while the frequency of incidents is greater than most other hockey players, I could never shake the feeling that Ho-Sang was getting a raw deal from a culture that only praises the quiet-but-burning-inside personality. I’ve spoken with Ho-Sang on several occasions over the years and he’s a really outgoing kid. Sure, maybe he talks too much for some, but it doesn’t seem to be coming from anywhere disingenuous; he’s just really honest – sometimes to his own detriment. Plenty of other players have missed curfews or come in to work late – Cam Talbot did it recently; so did Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan last season – and it hasn’t affected their standing. They were already NHLers, so perhaps they get more leeway, but it’s not much of a difference, really.
A lot of NHL folk are scared of personalities. Ho-Sang was definitely immature as a kid, but I haven't heard anything bad on that front in nearly 2 years.

Exasperated from all the Jake Virtanen arguing around here. He's an incredibly disappointing prospect not playing nearly as good as what we drafted him to be, with potential to turn it around and still be an NHL player that can contribute on the third line. If he turns out to be anything more, that'd be great. Now if we could all just accept that, that would be great.

Seeing all these great young players around the league dominate makes me wish we had some high end young talent as well. Seems like even when we suck to the bottom of the league we miss out. Not trying to bash on our team's players, just really jealous. Hope we'll get some young sure fire franchise players soon enough. (Or just one would be great too.)

@TheOgRook You never watch a superhero movie, read a comic, or listen to music you liked as a teen for nostalgias sake? It's not any different.
I guess some peoples idea of growing up means you can't goof off every now and then, but mine (and many others) doesn't. If something is fun, I'm probably going to do it.
In the end of the day spending 20 minutes playing a game on my phone during times I would have just been looking at the internet anyways doesn't really make a difference to anything. So who cares?
