Phil_314
*Bump* How does Ebisu rank against other sushi places, quality and quantity-wise? I'm considering going there for lunch (do they have A.Y.C.E. options?)
Tortorella's Rant
Tokachi in Surrey. Best sushi I've ever had. Use to eat there on a regular basis many many years ago. Very nice atmosphere inside too. Very nice guys, assuming they still work there. Too bad they set up in such a poor area though; druggies, crime, cops. Whether or not that has changed, I have no idea.
Tortorella's Rant
The Red Door in Vancouver as well. I believe they changed it to something else, which I can't recall. My uncle and I were disappointed when we arrived there before going to the hockey game later. We love the Asian style food but we were equally impressed with the new place also. hudson bay rules
I was in New York a while back, and, to be honest, I had a lot of bad meals from Chinatown to pizza but I was at this one place that was on or near 5th ave that seemed to be an Italian place that did sushi/sashimi. We were presented with a 3 foot tower of shaved ice with oysters, clams, shrimp, salmon etc and it was fookin excellent. Good thing I didn't have to pay for it. Raoul Duke
It was over 3 years ago now, but I went to this Italian place in Burnaby. Huge portions and people were queuing to get in. And decent enough food. Can't remember the name but I'd recognise it if I went back.

Jägermeister
Ouisis on Granville and 14th is phenomenal. It's mostly Cajun and Creole food, they've got some weird stuff like Alligator Bites (one of the best things I have ever eaten) and even though I have never ordered them, they have some of the most delicious looking Bennys. Kryten
Sorry, but if you add the Keg and the Hard Rock cafe then your other opines fall into question.

Scottish⑦Canuck
Yeah, I'm guessing from the number of responses I've had asking if it was Anton's that it actually was. I'm coming back across at the end of May. Might go there again if I'm peckish.

VoiceOfReason_
Not the best, but insanely good, consistent and well priced is Martini's on Broadway. Best salad dressing in the world. So garlicy.
Scottish⑦Canuck
I had an amazing steak at a Rock Bottom Brewery in Chicago. For a chain I think the food is really good.
