2013-14 Prospect Points Tracker

Which is fair enough with Ilhati and Honzik really falling off the radar after initially looking promising.

Still can't believe they went with Honzik when Binnington was sitting right there.

Gillis was trying with a high risk/high reward pick instead of the safer pick in Binnington. Hopefully he learned his lesson there.

Also, did anyone else know Binnington is playing for the K-Wings? I guess he's on loan?

I remember Iilahti was drafted by the Giants but never came over to play here... that was disappointing. Off topic, but I'd love for us to have a prospect playing on the Giants again, Bliznak seems like forever ago.

Whats the word on Patrick McNalley,,will he be reinstated this year, or his he playing at all?

He's sitting out the first seven games of the year to make up for the seven he played last season (I think he has three more games to sit out)

Is there a particular reason Cassels is lighting it up? Is he on a stacked team or something or are his stats actually indicative of the type of player he is?

He's part of a dominant line, but he is by no means riding other players coattails.

He seems to be the trigger man on the powerplay right now too.

Dal Colle and Laughton are ahead of him in scoring but not by much,, its the most dominant line in the OHL,,McDavids line on the Erie Otters is pretty good as well,,but only 2 of them in the top 20.

Looking at the points totals Gaunce seems to be doing really well on a crappy team. 19pts in 16 games ain't shabby playing for a bottom dweller!

It's pretty much guaranteed that he will be traded at some point this season, hopefully to a contender like the Knights. That 1-2 C punch of Horvat-Gaunce would be sick.
