i had a nightmare last night about this. we did get a higher pick but then gillis took some terrible goalie called stephen stolarz with the top ten pick. it was terrifying.

but damn, losing tanev hurts

That's pretty specific for a nightmare, are you sure it wasn't a fantasy...

Maybe his name is Stephen and he's a terrible goalie? I'd be scared to try and live up to being picked in the top 10 as well if I were him.

For those not aware Utica is still in a playoff race. Not only should Corrado not be called up but

Yensen should be sent back down to help. 1 or 2 rounds of AHL playoffs is a better option than playing out the string with Vancouver.

Not when the player is playing a dynamic game, and making a difference with the big club! He will learn more playing against better competition if he has gotten to the point he can compete. Which he has...

He's also injecting some flair and enthusiasm into the Canucks. Its easier to see the light on the other side of the tunnel.

Are all these injuries... jeebus.

Is it because Torts is pushing too many minutes on certain players?

Is it some new training regime that's overworking the team?

Is it just plain bad luck? (Like Detroit this season)

Has Bettman stated its open season on the Canucks? (tinfoil hat question)

Is management secretly tanking for better draft picks? (another tinfoil hat question)

At least we have depth on the D.

It's better than 100 AHL games or even 1000 really.

If these players are able to play in the NHL they are no longer going to get much of anything in the AHL anymore.

I could go through grade 6 fifty more times it wouldn't change the fact that I had a B average in grade 12.

At least you got a B's.

I'm jelly.

I disagree. Winning games in a lesser league isn't going to prepare them for the NHL more than playing in the NHL will.

But Utica has a better chance of succeeding at this point.

You need to get that feel going. Assuming Canucks are done.
