oldnews
Gibby and JD gotta hug it out lol. After the game though. Let the anger fuel JD for the time being. Edited August 17, 2016 by oldnews

Down by the River
Blue Jays' batters need a sports psychologist. How do you have 10 strikeouts and 7 runs in 5 innings? That's some weird dissociative identity disorder or something. Edited August 17, 2016 by Down by the River

oldnews
Happ is such an oddity. Low key - under the radar, and probably doesn't get enough respect as a result. But that probably feeds right into his hands as teams don't get all that up to face him. Love the way he limits damage. He really doubles down after giving up anything - hard to get much continuous momentum against him. He just quietly rolls on, not getting a great deal of attention. Quintana, Kluber, Britton, Miller, Sale.... Funny to listen to the American MLB coverage throw all these names out as CY candidates - and you scarcely hear a word about the guy having arguably the best season in the American league. 2016 Cy Young Predictor - AL RK PLAYER TEAM CYP G GS IP ER K SV SHO W-L ERA VB 1 J.A. TheRussianRocket.
And that's it for Happ. Another spectacular start. Should be win #17 right here. Hopefully the Jays don't have to use too many arms to end the game.

Tortorella's Rant
At least JD has a sense of humor about the altercation with Gibby. "He asked what kind of cologne I was wearing.. I told him to back up." That's funny lol. I was expecting something generic. Edited August 17, 2016 by Tortorella's Rant
RUPERTKBD
Hopefully JD's injury isn't all that serious. Nice to see Bossman Jr. finally come through. It's funny, because during that AB, I was saying to myself that with his uppercut swing and power combo, the law of averages dictates that eventually he was going to connect on one. He put the next pitch is the RF bleachers. I doubt it's the start of a trend, but if nothing else, it gets a bit of a monkey off his back. Maybe now he can relax and get back to being that guy who used to kill us as a Devil Ray.
