73 Percent
First one was going wide. The glove save was fire though.

SergioMomesso
Demko made that glove save look way too easy. I hope he gets a few games in VAncity if the Comets don't go on a deep run. I can't wait to see where we are at in 2-3 years.
DS4quality
He looked off in the first game but stood on his head in the second game. He looked like he was having a blast. He's gonna be good...real good!
UticaHockey
Great video interview with Demko's dad and the biggest Comets fan in San Diego.

Thought the same thing. I squinted my eyes a bit and was transported back to 2008. Demko is more Luongo than Schneider. I maintain that even with the seemingly unlimited potential of Boeser, Pettersson, Dahlen, Gaudette, 2018 1st rounder, etc. Demko may still be the best of the bunch. Every team takes a goalie every couple years just to keep the cupboard stocked, but taking Thatcher was something more than that. They saw a starter with star potential and he has been living up to that with his career to date.

aGENT
Call ups next year with injuries and when we move Nilsson at/before the TDL. He's almost ready.

Yep, unless he stuns in camp I don't see any issue with him starting in Utica again next season. There's no rush, that's why we have 2 B goalies at the moment anyways, time.

We need to be pretty much assured of a top five pick (even with a bad lotto result) before he comes up to play. He might win too many games.

If he got hot later this year he could challenge for starting position next season. Kids thats good. My only concern.. is how will Marky embrace him? he's waited this long to be the starter. Now this young fresh faced kid with uber loads of talent shows up. I'm worried he might be detrimental to his development. Obviously marky is a competitor but I have my concerns. (I'm sure he can be intimidating at times).

RetroCanuck
Id like to see Demko get one or two games this year but not too many. No point getting him blown out for repetitive games down a pointless stretch and hurting his confidence. Let him slowly get more accustomed to the pro game next year and be a full time starter in 2020.
