Tryamkin had been the team captain last season since February 2018 at least. Please check my post of Feb 28 with several game pictures, one of them clearly shows the "C" on his chest.

I can attest to this.

I think the first game I noticed him wearing the "C" was actually something like late November of last season.

EDIT: according to the KHL game summaries, Tryamkin first wore the "C" (or the "K" per the website) on November 24th, 2017: https://en.khl.ru/game/468/56968/protocol/

It appears that Mikhnov was captain on November 21st, and then was out of the lineup on the 24th and Tryamkin took over as captain. From perusing the game reports, it would seem that Big Nik never gave up the "C" (or the "K") and stayed captain (or "капитан"), even after Mikhnov returned to the lineup.

Good catch, guys. I was going by Avtomobilist's Team Captaincy History. I'm guessing Tryamkin was an interim team captain last season and then was later named team captain officially?

9th Sept game, NT did not play, nor is he listed as injured. So, to use Dave Pratt logic.......'what we know for sure is Tryamkin is headed back to Vancouver !'......../s

'This is what we know.....' Another Pratt go-to line when he hears something.

Yes Please!

Further "evidence" that he's on his way here, he isn't listed on the team according to the highly reliable sofascore:

He's right on the site as a part of their team still. Not sure what everyone is looking at, he's on there.

Watched that game and was wonderin myself. Probably a small injury I'd imagine. Dawe wore the C that game and scored too

Now Avtomobilist decided to go with the more experienced captain in Nigel Dawes. From the latest interview with the Avto head coach Martemianov of Sep 11 https://www.championat.com/hockey/news-3538515-martemjanov-ostavili-dousa-kapitanom-posle-vozvraschenija-trjamkina-obid-net.html :

"The fact that Dawes remains the team captain after the Tryamkin's return is decision of the coaches. There is no controversy in the team, Nikita had strong game today. Next time someone else might be the captain".

I am not sure why Tryamkin has missed the previous game, I could not find anything in the Russian mass media and the Avto web site is not working right now.

That's news indeed. Hopefully it makes it easier for his transition back here. Having the C would just make it harder I think.

Tryamkin out of the lineup again for Avto’s game today. I haven’t come across any reports on why and what his injury might be. I think he was slated to play and was a late scratch.

#93, Vasilevski missed the same two games. Are NT and Vasilevski d partners ?
